Today, we were split into 5 groups for the Indonesian music presentation. My group members were Tania, Min Ah, Ariq and Mario. Our group theme was Balinese music. I was in charge of the PowerPoint Presentation on the History of Balinese music, Tania is in charge of the poster about Balinese composers, and Min Ah is in charge of a poster about traditional Balinese instruments. So, I'm going to finish the presentation.

Prosper Thy Friend
Tuesday, 10th August 2010
Today, we listened to the people who re-do the assessment for the whole session. I cheered for them, so that they will get a better score. I want to help and give
rather than being helped and receive. So, in the end, they all passed! Awesome! This is also the first time we haven't been late for instrument class, because usually we are. The next important task will be the presentation on Indonesian music. I look forward to it.

Don't be Nervous
Thursday, 5th August 2010
Today, I sang the song for the assessment... with Tasia! In the last minute, Mr John decided to make it in pairs! Heck yeah! I got an 9.6! Not bad.. not bad... I thought that
we were still doing it solo, so I got really nervous. And that affected my "horrible" singing. But having a 9.6 is all that I want or have. Even if I get a low score, I will still try hard. So, I look
forward to the next task/activity and I will do it the best I can.

Logic Test
Thursday, 29th July 2010
Today, we didn't practice our assessment because the teachers expect us to memorize the lyrics at home. But instead, we were tested on our skill in Music Theory and
got called one by one. I made the G Clef while the others were tested on their finger scale logic. Personally, this quiz was quite easy because I learned it already (not to brag about it, by
the way). I would like to know more about his next time we have our lesson.

Assessment Practice
Tuesday, 27th July 2010
Today, we practiced our solo singing assessment. And luckily, we did it in groups! Well, just for now. I did quite a good job singing as I got a 7 for it. I want to practice more,
because I still need to improve to get a better score. So afterwards, I plan to ace a score of 8 or 9. And, then I also want to improve my finger scale.

First Things First...
Thursday, 22nd July 2010
Today, in Music Theory, we learned about the C Major scale. We also learned an Indonesian song called 'Rayuan Pulau Kelapa'. Many of us were having a hard time memorizing
that song because most of them weren't familiar to it. Many also didn't know about the C Major scale, because they never knew about musical notes. So, for the next session, I have to memorize
the song because Mr John said that it was for assessment. And guess what, it's an individual assessment! I seriously have to memorize this song!
